Sorry, sorry… I know this isn’t the point of the post but I vote for the outfit with the Rachel Comey sweatshirt.
On a serious note, I almost can’t think too much about Kinder commencement because my youngest goes to kindergarten in the fall and I’m already a tiny emo about it.
Fellow kinder mom here, we graduated two weeks ago and wow…the feelings are wild. I am amazed by teachers and their ability to teach 20 children all the things. Hang in there, we’ve got this
My son reads my texts over my shoulder and corrects my grammar hahah! It’s hilarious. First grade was much easier for us than K! But man oh man is the kindergarten graduation a tear jerker. I couldn’t stop crying!
I am a teacher and my son has been in full-time care since he was 1. I am SO emotional about him leaving preschool!!! It really does feel like a huge transition and I am so happy they make it with a little ceremony. America is devoid of ritual and we need this one!
Thank you for the warning about kindergarten. My son will go from starting school at 9:00 am to starting school at 7:40. I am NOT ready for this.
Not all my friends with kids in kinder went through the transition woes but a lot DID so I like to give everyone a heads-up lol. It caught me way off guard! And oof yes the 9 am to 7:40 is truly mind-boggling but I've grown to like it?? They go to bed so much earlier, hallelujah.
As a fellow kinder mom…I felt this! My son just wrapped and I can’t believe it. He’s my youngest so every milestone he hits is the last one—it hits so hard! Congrats to you and your kiddo Maurene !

my daughter has her pre-k graduation this week and I’m feeling all the feels too - such a wild ride!
It’s wild wild wild this parenting thing!

When their little voices sing “What a Wonderful Word”—I mean, come ON!
It’s too much to take!!

I’m so obsessed with him… I swear he was JUST crawling on the floor like 2 months ago though :(
He’s now at the age that I most associate with Eric which is WILD
